2. Tony Barnes

Assistant Minister - Minister of Music, Family Ministries & Outreach

Tony is our Assistant Minister - Minister of Music, Family Ministries & Outreach.  He is a retired elementary music teacher and is currently the President of the Mississippi Music Educator's Association - Elementary Div.  In addition, Tony heads up our culinary ministry during ROW and teaches music at Chickasaw Elementary is an outreach program of our church.  Tony is married to Jennifer and they have two children, Zachary and Mallory.

Lynn oversees office functions and everything else. She takes care of the needs of the staff and church members, usually before they realize they need something. Lynn is married to Jonathan, they have two sons Josh and Zach.

Children's Ministry

4. Desiree O'Rear

Children's Minister & Kindergarten Director

Desiree O’Rear is currently serving as the Chickasaw United Methodist Children’s Minister, Kindergarten Director and K-5 teacher. Desiree is married and is the mother of two boys.  She is a graduate of Satsuma High School where she acquired the title of Valedictorian of her class.  She went on to study at the University of South Alabama.  Desiree has held numerous volunteer roles serving children and her community.

Youth Minister

“Shalom-Koinonia”- it means Hello - Fellowship! My name is Sean Lowe and I have been blessed with the opportunity to serve the youth of Chickasaw United Methodist Church (CUMC) and the great city of Chickasaw, Go Chieftains! I hope you will join me in prayer as we reach today’s youth with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We can impact lives by our example through serving, sharing, and sacrificing so that God may be glorified in all that our church is doing to reach the community.
